1 Week Old

It's hard to believe that 1 week ago, Lilly was in labor right now!  These guys have changed so much in just 1 week and are doing great.  Lilly is a fantastic mother too!

24 Hours

Hi everyone!  Just 24 short hours ago LILLY delivered 7 beautiful, healthy pups!  The delivery was smooth, quick and could not have gone much better.  Lilly is an excellent first time mommy!

Babies on the Way!

I've been MIA for a while but we've got babies coming!  I'm soooo excited!  Lil' Miss Thang Lilly (pictured) is only 2 weeks away from delivering!  I tried to get some good shots of her, but all she wanted to do was sleep.  Hmph....wonder why.  Maybe it has to do with that big ol' belly of hers!  Chica has been bred as well and we'll find out in a couple weeks if she's prego or not!!  :)

The 8 Week Good-Bye...

Well, that time ......that silly number 8....... came too quick and my sweet little pups were ready to leave my home for their new home.  Always bittersweet.....always.  I waved goodbye to each little pup, so happy for the new family that is going to love them, but so sad, especially knowing that they will probably be the last little pup I get to love on from Daisy.   But, I can see such a change at about 8 weeks in the puppies and know that they really, really need their own family to take care of them and give them that necessary individual attention they so need and deserve.  A BIG thank you to each of the families..... I know you will make wonderful homes!

7 Weeks!

Well, things have been busy 'round here and I missed a week due to all the families coming out to pick their specific puppy and just being busy with life. I CANNOT believe my sweet little puppies are 7 weeks old today! So sad! But happy too! It's such a mix of emotions for me..... I'm so happy for the new family but sad to see them go. Thankfully I have found great families that I know will love them as much as I do.

The puppies had their vet visit yesterday and ALL checked out wonderfully! My vet was very impressed with each of them and gave Hope & Chance a good extra exam and thought they looked just as healthy as the rest! They were really squirmy when I was trying to take pictures, so I'm posting what I have, although they aren't great!

5 Weeks Old!

The puppies turned 5 weeks old yesterday and the realization hit me that they won't be around for much longer. So sad! :( They're TOO cute for words....seriously. They couldn't be any chubbier either. Just delicious! I was watching my friends kids so the puppies got lots of play time in today. They love all the attention!

4 Weeks Old!

Hello everyone!

Well, today the pups turn 4 weeks old and they are lucky to be raised in Southern California because today was their first trip to the outside world......and what a beautiful day it is! I watch the news of people in snow and ice but can't imagine it as I'm watching my kids play with the pups in their shorts! :) The puppies are also enjoying their new treat of solid food.....yum! :)

The challenge now is getting them to sit still long enough for me to try and get a quick picture. I enlisted the help of 5 yr old this afternoon, but she had a hard time sitting still too! :)
